Since there is no pension now what do you feel about creating an income stream post retirement with lump sum annuity plans

Annuities provide you income in case you outlive your savings. But they build that into the return they provide. So it’s best to combine doing a systematic withdrawal plan with your own portfolio with a small annuity just in case.
