Who can argue with Warren Buffett…if he indeed said it? I wouldn’t put too much weight on who supposedly said something because quotes often get wrongly attributed.
On the concept itself, I agree. It’s suggesting that you put in a system to transfer your target saving amount from your income as soon as it comes in. That way, you are forced to spend only what’s left. This system ensures you meet your savings target. So it’s effective for people who struggle to save otherwise.
